Majorca Bombs Lockdown

Two policemen died today after two car bombs exploded, it is blelived that the car bombs had been setup by members of the ETA . All flights coming from England to Majorca have be cancalled, 11 flights on there way to Majorca had to be turned back. Thousands of tourist were stranded in terminals on the island for 4 hours.

Many other tourist were unable to begin there holiday. In the same area of the bombing when the police found another device beneath a car, it was removed safly later. At Palma, Spanish navy vessels sealed off the docks and patrolled the coast searching for the attackers. The booby trap was bomb was the second in Spain in 2 days, was 50 yards away froma beach where hundreds of Brits were relaxing on holiday.

The explosives were hidden under a police car outside a barracks in Palma Nova,next to the party of Magaluf and went off as the officers started the engine. Seven people were injured but there were no more reports of British casualaties.
